  Taken by Ulee at Red Square 12/28/2008.  Such a beautiful and powerful rendition of the song, and a great capture of the connection between band to audience, audience to audience, and band to band.
  
  Also sums up what I feel was the best, most diverse, exciting, emotional, and especially testing year in the bands repitoire.  I saw ~20 shows in 2008, and each of them were completely different and special.  I saw so many different band lineups that year too it was like you never knew what was going to come at the next show.
  
  You gotta love lex in front with his classic "two hands up, shake head back and forth in disbelief" move.
  
  6:30-7:00 is beyond epic.  Words fail to describe how epic that peak was.

• yeah red square was always a perfect venue for ellis to show off his work.  deep stage, low ceiling...this show i remember being particularly good with the lights.
  
  your right lex, this run was frigin amazing.  the last month or so of 08, when jordan rejoined the band were some of the best shows ive ever seen.
