I know a couple of PB tunes, not sure exactly how accurate they are but here goes...

GBFBITS

Part 1
Start with bar chord on 14th fret and move down fretboard
A G F E D C B E (Repeat)

Part 2
partially palm mute this part
AA   GG   F#F#   GG   G#G# (Repeat)
D    C   A <---not positive about this part

Part 3
DD   CC   A#A#   AA
GG   FF   EE   AA


I don\'t know, listen along with this then jam it out... I figured out parts of other songs too that i could post if you\'re interested, let me know.

the best way to do this is to just use your ears and not pay any attention to the notes....that will just slow you down.

I am a super novice guitar player...I can make a bunch of chords....but as for runs/fills/fancypants riffs, I am lost.  And rythym...I got no strumming pattern or a concept of even how.....

I would love to learn a simple breakfast tune or two.....

good thread....lets see what you guitar vets can come up with....

Pretty much all you need is A, E, and D for the Vermont Song...

   A chord section------------------------------------/D section(play twice)

e -------------------3-4-5--------------------------------------

then solo like a fiend (lol)...and so on.

play along with timmy on cd or somethin to get the strumming, and then of course jam it out!
Master this and you\'ve learned yourself your first PB tune on the geetar..if you need some help reading these tabs ask me and i will def. help you!

those bass runs are something that you just have to feel.  I myself am a bass player and Ron definitely rips it up.  Check out his work on Hot Lanta on the music page of their website....pretty close if not better than the original by Allman Bros as far as bass playing goes.

he\'s deffinatley able to flow when it comes to great bassing. He doesnt use any fancy schmancy pedals either, which is great. just sits back there and lays it down..
