stomp used to come to the oakdale and do a run of like 8 shows in a week back when they had the broadway series every year. lots of crazy percussionists beating on things. if he does the show its something id like to check out

Gav, its awesome... they were just in New Haven like to weeks ago. They are an amazing group of percussionists that play on everything and anything that you can think of. If you can bang on it, or make a groove, they do it from broomsticks, to match boxes to garbage cans, pots and pans! If it comes around you, make it a point to go see it. I believe there is a DVD of one of their Broadway performances that you could probably rent or buy. Well worth the investment!

From what I can gather, Adrian has auditioned for the group. There is a traveling cast (maybe a few of them nationally but I\'m not sure) that he must have made past a few of the cuts and is still in the running. This group has been around since I was at least in early highschool. I played in our school percussion ensemble that did a peice loosely based off the Stomp theme. It\'s alot of fun to be a drummer and be able to make rhythms & grooves out of almost anything someone puts in your hands! There are several other related videos/clips off the previous link that are all from the TV/HBO/DVD that the Broadway cast filmed some time ago.
