Joe you cannot possibly be ser.......
you haven\'t been to a show in over a year....
have you ever been to a solo timmy or smokin boomers show?
do you realize how much changes in the music from one show to the next?  let alone 15 months....

your opinions are bunk if you are just operating out of a unibomber like cabin up in vermont judging this band and this scene by what you stream and read off of the internet....I really dont think the band gives a crap what you think they should or should not play....

posted on my own thread in Dec of last year...this idea was months ahead of it\'s time and was looked down on HORRIBLY by some of the very people cheering this subject today, hmmmm?
12/11/04 at like 10 or so AM
Here is my point explained ina different way. Let\'s say last night\'s show was an average # of songs(looks like it), that would put song total at 17(w/ encore). They have 45 original songs(46 if you include the song on RR that hasn\'t been played yet. This means that they could go 2 whole shows and 3/4 of the 3rd show without any repeats and that is just playing originals which ain\'t gonna happen.

Using last nights list again they played 3 covers which I would say is about avg for the band on any given night. This would mean that they could easily go 3 shows without a single repeat in a setlist.

My main point is that they would again(only my opinion) gain a larger fanbase if they mixed up setlists a little more. People aren\'t going to want to travel to see the same 10 or so songs over and over again(here I am talking about others than the diehard CT area fans). What do ya think?

checking back on the Spacewolf baseball line odds sheet, there are 62 songs that are not covers that they play but only about 45 or so are regular rotation songs.
I agree that if they could strech out their material over 3 days then it would be more attractive for some non-CT diehards to make the trek to see them. I think that they need 80-100 pieces of material to have a nice break between playing songs. That way we don\'t need to hear Inner Glimpse every show.
Also, I believe that covers, like them or hate them, need to be taken down from an average of 3 down to 1. Unless, much like Phish did with some of their covers, they have to make them completely their own.
New material = more shows
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.

Timmy shows/Boomer shows ARE NOT TB shows....  Unless all of their jams take on various thematic elements each and every night it all sounds the same to me.... random notes played at fast speeds.

I don\'t believe anyone ever said they were. Gotta be a seer to be a believer. Don\'t go bashing Timmy Tour now, guy!!!
