it\'s a very ballsy move. It\'s all fun and games for us but it\'s their rep as a band on the line here. if they do cover LB they need to absolutely 100% NAIL IT.

They should cover the original released version of Lawn Boy with Fee on it. That would own n00bs all over the world.

This doesn\'t seem like much of a stretch to me ...

When I saw the Breakfast (granted it was a few years ago), they were so obviously trying to sound JUST like Phish - right down to the guitar players tone, and Trey faces.

This has been a knock on the band for a long time so I am kind of surprised they would do a Phish album. It is adding fuel to the fire. And with this rumor being spread I just hope the band pulls it off because if a lot of people show to hear the album and they dont do it then I would imagine a few pissed off people.

This is exactly why I bought a plane ticket when it was announced they would be in VT for the FF. I felt the band was ready to make a major statement with the addition of Matt.

With the announcement of an album being covered I immediately thought of a Phish album(Junta) and the statement the band was ready to make.
My feeling is that the Phish album will be played phenomenally but the set/s of Breakfast music are going to be the statement.
I just have a feeling they are going to showcase some of the most stellar playing we have heard from them and put all comparisons to Phish to rest for good(well there will always be **** but you get what I\'m saying yeah?)

Wow someone else that actually realizes Fee was on the original release. Of course it would be you Joe.

whether they play the album or not, they\'ll have a great crowd on their own... no worries ;)
