First of all... Farmhouse wasn\'t a horrible album :duck:

Secondly... 99% of the reviews are written by long-time fans, not a critic from outside the breakfast family.

I don\'t think the band needs to change their sound or stop jamming; contrary to popular belief, I enjoy it.  But, I am saying that if there were some tunes that could apeal to more than jamband community, they could raise their awareness and gain more fans.

It all boils down to what the band wants to do.  It\'s not our decision, however difficult it might be for some people on the board to swallow.

oh yeah, i\'m definitely not advocating a switch to all 3.5 minute pop ditties, but adding a few more easierly digestable songs can\'t do any harm.

and you\'re right, yoda, we don\'t control the band. and we don\'t know what they\'re doing when we\'re not around. i\'m just throwing out a suggestion based on the increased amount of non-travel time this year offers. the band said they want more seats filled, so, here\'s a suggestion that they may very well already be working on....
