I wouldn\'t say that every show is better than the one before.  Some of my favorite shows are from 2000/2001, while other memorable ones are from the past year.  From what I hear, there have been plenty of doozies in recent months that couldn\'t possibly top Butterfield 11-17-2000 or Camp Creek and Quadfest from 2001.

Gencs, you are lucky because you get to see all the hometown shows which rock the hardest.

I love the fact that I am not the only one who truly thinks each show is better than the one before.....  I know dave and some other folks love to break my balls because I am always singing the praises of how good a show/song/jam etc was....  but I cannot help it and am glad to know i am not alone.....QUOTE]

Right on, I can remember back to the days of Calahans where I didn\'t think they could get any crazier, but I guess I was wrong.  Every show show somehow tops the previous.
This isn\'t who it would be if it wasn\'t who it is.

believe me....there was a time for about 2+ years where I would go to a breakfast show hoping and preying that it would suck so I wouldnt feel bad about taking a few shows off and not fighting to get to every show possible....but...that never happened,

i hear ya gencs...i am dying that the aug 4th show at capt. nick\'s is the same day that Trey\'s new band is coming to boston.  I know there is like 6 more shows i will make in august but just the idea of missing a show i could possibly make is killing me...why are these guys sooo good????

I\'m making a possible roadtrip from Indiana to Connecticut in the fall, but I won\'t even drive the 45 minutes to Indianapolis to see Trey. Does that tell you anything?

We would love to have you here in CT.

Trey\'s old band, yes, I would travel the 45 minutes. His new band, wouldn\'t open my window if they were playing in my backyard.

if i could, i would definitely go to the Puppet House shows. thats pre-confirmed EPICness. granted porter\'s always is, or **** CT always is for that matter, but the classic rock album gigs takes the cake without a doubt.

off to work.  :wave2:

I\'ll have to wait until I\'m back at school, but I\'m almost positive I could talk SOMEONE into going. Man, what a ser weekend that would be...
