Bradley, how are you? My name is Frederick Ferrara. I have been
listening to the band The Breakfast for quite some time now. Im pretty
upset with your review of the new album on jambands.com. My question
to you is,how many times have you actually listened to this album? It
flows perfectly. Maybe it dosent overwhelm folks with needless
shredding, but the content and song that were choosen are perfect. You
need to realize that these guys have finally hit the point of
maturity, thats a bit beyond ripping and tearing the whole album.Thats
what live shows are for,guy..
These guys arent Particle,or Brothers Past. 2 bands on the scene that
can seem to do no wrong. What they are is 4 guys from Ct. This is all
they know. These guys are trying to turn heads in 2005,but with
borderline-dogshit reviews like yours, its not gonna happen. Have you
ever seen The Breakfast perform?
Have you ever seen Timmy Palmieri take over a crowd,at will?
Have yo uever seen Adrian the drummer leave the place with jaws on the floor?
These guys are rock and roll. The brand of rock and roll that should be
commended,and not ripped into a new ****..
Bradley,id like to buy you a ticket or 2 to see these guys with your
own eyes, then we can all sit around, kick up our feet, and laugh at that
bogus review.

the fact that he doesn\'t even comment on the lyrics labels his review as incomplete, and therefore, quite irrelevant. I mean, if you don\'t think the album jams enough, fine (did he get as far as Scheme?), but go deeper on the other end of it. If it\'s a song-heavy album (god forbid) then at talk about the pros and cons of the actual songs. It\'s far too easy to just give a broadstroke and denounce the album because of it\'s relatively-concise nature. I think the album is the perfect happy medium between jams and songs, but he doesn\'t break it down and say that this song is good or bad because of this or that. He just expected something he didn\'t get and got pissy as a result. I got an album that I didn\'t expect and was thrilled as a result. Different strokes for different dopes.

Is he associated with Jambands.com or was the review independent?  Maybe someone else can do some justice if they allow additional reviews?

does anyone else think that gsot sounds like old pink floyd at parts? I never thought this until I heard the album version... weird.

There\'s actually a quick guitar part in Vera Street that is reminiscent of the Chili Peppers.

How come \'The Chase\' was left off the album?  Didn\'t fit in well with the other songs or the band didn\'t like the result?

At last glance, there\'s 14 minutes of free space on the disk.

We simply didn\'t feel that The Chase as we recorded it was as outstanding a version of the song as it needed to be to make the record.  Everyone pretty much agreed.

We also didn\'t want to put filler on the record.  Everything that is there is there because we felt strongly about it.

And plenty of records come in at an hour or so.  I don\'t feel the need to fill every second.
