So in the last month I have received very positive feedback from a few Leafers that have given The Breakfast a try.
I gave some discs to a couple at RAQ and now they are all about seeing The Breakfast.
I just saw the first Breakfast show link thread not posted by me on the TLG board this morning for the Lion\'s Den show and I have been getting all sorts of PM\'s on which shows to start with over the past month.
I think that Freakout Publicity helped a bit. Yea!
curious, what shows/studio work did you give to the RAQ folks?
The one I have been pushing like mad. 9/14/07 Daniel St. w/ the GBFBITS>Space Oddity>Rufus to close Set I and HB>HLH>HB>HLH to open the second.
tell em to check out the wheelhouse maybe? that show was off the hook.
or the red square show, still in my opinion the best jamming ive ever seen out of the band.

man, that l&tg.... sooo tasty!!!
its the breakfast. any show you give a newbie will kickass
ya, but Sully\'s and Stone Church sound REAL good and they are recent. but this thing changes every couple weeks, something from the RI show will have to make it on the new disk.
I\'m actually giving TLG\'s road/tour manager a ride to Santa Cruz this weekend and plan on playing him some tasty Breakfast. He already likes them but I do not think he has even heard them in a few years.

I still drool thinking about this show. Best 90 minute Breakfast ever.

Good work. Wonder what his reaction will be with the way the band sounds now compared to then, for better or for worse.
I\'d push the Sully\'s show like crazy. The sound quality is phenomenal and I think it\'s perhaps the tightest I\'ve heard a show collectively. The setlist is amazing, pure Breakfast funky-rips and originals all show long. (Just leave Timmy B. Goode off the transfer

)
Nice work leith.

This Mayfly is amazing. Lack of praise was surprising after I listened to it. The breakdown from 9:00-10:30 is a statement of how the 4-piece has already matured together. Then they drop back into some heavy
**** per Mayfly-usualness. This show also has the best Tunage I\'ve heard to date. Taboo is mouth-watering, the segue into WUIAC is soooo nice. HLH 2nd set... hello doctor.
ya i like red square but i think it\'s a real tender cut of meat that you never really get...so i don\'t know about pushing that one...
and good job leith..
I definitely think the Red Square is choice too.
