phantsy phags. most of those kids can\'t think for themselves. that thread = 1 kid saying something and everyone else saying "yea, that"
thanks for holdibng it down fluff626
ptmoe. gives mad love for teh boys. evidenced by the presence of moe.rons at all breakfast shows now
"got to drop l with him and sound and light crew w. kyndkate in chicago in april. haha
good guy. we watched phish boots"
That is the most positive Breakfast thread I have ever seen on PT. The band can pick up a lot of fans if we can help convince the PT clique that the Breakfast are for real.
The people who dismiss them as a bar band would have hated Phish if they saw them before the mid 90\'s.
^^^ i was thinkin the same thing. some people
moe.rons fo\' life! anyone that was at moe.down6 and saw the space city>bequebus>grand scheme set had their lives changed forever. short set but i have never seen such energy in the beer tent (only rivaled by yolk this past down)

btw
if you think the breakfast is any good
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R46JdLeb6UI&mode=related&search=Really...they aren\'t good. But THIS...is good. This is what they are trying to do but they can\'t"
What an idiot. That link is to a video of Wayne Krantz\'s band. Now, Krantz is one of my favorite (alive, current) guitar players... He\'s incredible... But that is NOT what The Breakfast is trying to do. Krantz is a jazz/fusion player whose bands play do not use serious rock and roll the way the Breakfast do. The two bands are only slightly comparable.
That person needs to think a little more before they type.
Also... that CowFunk person has a point sort of... in one of his/her postsw anyhow... to say that Tim is "the best musician out there" is perhaps a little blindsighted.... And in my opinion actually may do more harm than good on a message board. It comes across as idolatry, not as an educated observation that can be backed up by real knowledge.
^^^
lol what a joke. Wayne Krantz isn\'t even that great of a jazz/fusion player.. to compare his skills to Tim Palmieri ......
Maybe if you don\'t play guitar what Krantz does might look tricky... let me assure you it is not. Yes it takes some practice and theory but there\'s really no extraordinary talent required. Plus its not that hard to play when you don\'t even have to worry about making coherent progressions! What Tim Palmieri does is infact very-tricky
Playing something "tricky" isn\'t always what it\'s all about, is it? Is technicality the only thing that is important anymore?
I wonder why so many of the world\'s best jazz players want to play with Wayne Krantz, seeing as he is so devoid of talent.
I think he\'s great. He is tactful, interesting, and creative. I like his playing. Must be due to my musical ignorance.
I am not making a comparison of the two men, I already stated that I thought that that was silly.... I am just mentioning the fact that I really like the guy.
I try to make it a habit of not telling someone that something they like is a "joke" by the way. It\'s pretty rude.
hey joceyln my post was pretty obviously directed at the poster from PT, but if you\'re looking for something to take offense at feel free to take it whatever way you want
really you think whether or not you like this dude Wayne on guitar makes a bit of difference to me?
Oh well, I guess saying "lol what a joke" could be taken either way. In fact, I was agreeing with what you wrote above and then proceeded to offer my own commentary about Wayne whatshisname on guitar. I should have probably expected you\'d get bent outta shape about it and then try to school me on rudeness and manners. whatever
You should have expected that because I misunderstood you once before?
Right... I have a real history lecturing you man.
****\'s been going on for years; it\'s getting ridiculous huh.
I guess I can see how your post could have been that directed at the PT guy. But I don\'t think it was particularly clear. When I see someone write under my post "what a joke" I reserve the right to defend myself. Anyone else would do the same.
As far as being bent out of shape goes... None of this matters to me one iota.
Fred, maybe later.

don\'t make me search the archives for some of your comments regarding that other band i like.
