i\'m still bummed i had to drive my friend home after the show so i couldn\'t even hit up the afterhours. hope this didn\'t ruin it so there won\'t be any in the future. i\'ve heard good things about the post-show activities you girls throw. would like to experience one firsthand before they are a thing of the past.
the girls have built a solid reputation of taking good care of us,and i appreciate it more than they know.
Leith... nice st.aug sig... always good to see moe. references out and about
Thanx. I had one heck of a time @ Latenite moe. in Vegas. That song really got me this time around thus the sig.
Hey Carla, I\'m sorry somebody took your beer. Unfortunately it goes with the territory of throwing large parties. Trust me, I\'ve thrown a few of these parties. There\'s always a loser at every party who takes random beer from the fridge. They\'re always easy to find though if it\'s craft beers. If someone\'s drinking your brand, just tell them to close their eyes then ask them what beer they\'re drinking. You can then call them out and humiliate them as you wish
For every beer-klepto there\'s also a saint, so in the end you come out OK. Remember before the Southbridge show when you guys sent me to make a beer run and to pick up a 30-rack for the general public? I never asked for any money back for it. I think 30 free beers should offset one stolen beer. You guys throw great parties, stick with it!
Lots of love go out to the two heady breakfast girls in the Storrs area. I always try to make sure people know they are appreciated.
We love you guys and all you do for us. Which has certainly been above and beyond over time. I had to play bouncer @ Todd\'s one night so I can be the fridge bouncer if you want....
ive had parties before where folks walked away with a buncha my ****. so losing a beer isnt really that big a deal.
yeah, i know it wasn\'t worth a lot in monetary terms, but it was my favorite beer!! Do you guys like any seasonal beers? I mean really enjoy them whole-heartedly? If you don\'t, then you can\'t possibly understand my frustration fully. I look forward to springtime just to be able to drink Blackbeary Wheats once again. They are only around from May-Aug, so once it\'s gone, it\'s like this emptiness rolls in over the part of my heart that really digs beer. So when you save one in your fridge for a while, and you are waiting for that perfect moment to bust it open and slurp down its berry goodness, and then someone swoops down with their evil claws and snatches it out from under you, then you can see why I would be upset.
I know there is no replacement for that one particular beer, and that sucks, but I just wanted to thank all of you that have given Elisa and I some acknowledgement. Thanks. It\'s good to hear that every once in a while.
Terry, don\'t worry, there will definitely be more afterparties in the future.

Now THAT\'S what I like to hear!
:disco:
By the way, hearing a girl talk about her love for beer the way you do is just about the sexiest thing in the world.
hah. now i\'ve never been to your place for late night, but even the effort that you ladies put into ANY latenight ANYWHERE is incredible, and my bfast experiences wouldn\'t be the same without ya. kudos. see you at UAC.

You love beer? Make the jump, brew your own. It does not cost that much to get a starter kit and if you enjoy it you can upgrade as you need. Brewing is pretty easy and people who are at your local supply store are usually eager to help out a beginner. There are a lot of recipes around for blackberry wheat beers. Try a couple and modify as needed. You might even be able to find a clone of your favorite.
The Complete Joy Of Home Brewing by Charlie Papazian is an excellent resource.

A man with 2 fridges is a man with his priorities in the right place

a man with a kegerator is even better. Visited a friend in Lake Tahoe. He has a refrigerator the size that would make the average frig whimper. He custom made it to hold two quarter kegs, taps on front and all. Needless to say, I was jealous as hell!!!
1 of my cloest frineds brother had a simialr setup in his reg. sized fridge. Held the slender 1/4 barrels (he is a home brewer) witht he tap out the side of the fridge. He has since picked up the kegerator.
cold beer on tap at a moments notice is SER indeed

The house I lived at prior to my current place had a kegerator, bar and a roomate that made delicious homemade beers.
We also had custom bar taps for specific kegs (Sierra Nevada etc.).
