Maybe not die completely, but I know what you mean. I agree with klout, let\'s see matt nail all the originals first, then worry about covers.
If they want covers, my vote is to bring back Question and Legend - two of my favourite covers they\'ve ever done and they don\'t sound cheesy - unlike Jump, which I too think is overplayed.
(However, it seems we all agree For Richard would be a good un, so maybe an exception?

Personally I think the coolest song that the band has covered is Earache My Eye...I love that song/part of the movie and when I first heard the band play it....I said to myself "Damn that is a fine good song to cover....heavy metal meets funny meets badass!" ...just my 2 cents....peace

They should cover Comfortably Numb. And some Radiohead. And that Seal song "Kiss from the Rose on a Grave"

miab is so over done at this point as well. It\'s not that good of a song to be even semi regular.
Sir Psycho is way better than one big mob although the lyrics are a little overly graphic.
Call me a custi but I am still down with shakedown and 2001 on a limited basis.
those are still good time party songs for newbs and vets alike to rock out to.
Comfortably numb would be aiite. In the flesh is a SICK way to end a massive set imo.

a sick new breakfast song that was instantly up there with the big boys would be 1000x better than even the gnarliest cover they could come up with. Even a pretty good or decent new original is better than a great cover imo.
I say focus on that and just play the good covers they already have in their arsenal and shelve all the
**** ones for a long long time.
i think any sensible fan would agree with that
