New Contest! The Breakfast Haiku Bonanza!

On the heels of the wildly successful Logo-Parody Bonanza, we bring you another delicious creativity contest.  Ladies, gentlemen, and Blubladanians, introducing...

THE BREAKFAST HAIKU BONANZA!

That\'s right, time to release your inner poet and get those Breakfast Haikus going!  It\'s cool because anyone can do this, you don\'t need a fancy graphics program this time!  Let\'s run this for two weeks, through 6/17/06.

The prize for this contest is a ticket to the Breakfast show of your choice anytime in 2006!(No festies.)

A Haiku is a 3-line poem.  The first and third line must have 5 syllables and the second line has 7 syllables.  That\'s it.  Nice and simple!

Here\'s three to get us started:

Fingers flying fast
Fretboard doesn\'t have a chance
Timmy Tour Fo Life!

*  *
I like to eat Za
It sounds as good as it tastes
Take it off the shelf

*  *
Rufus breaks my balls
But not like Staven Guineas
Those guys are brutal

*  *
OK, your turn!  Ready, set, HAIKU!

Yay!  This sounds like fun.  I\'ll have to think about it for awhile, and it will give me something to do at work when I am bored :spin:

My Contribution...

syllables, not words.
Light travels faster than sound. That is why some people appear bright...until you hear them speak.

Wow, yeah, didn\'t even do a word count on those. Good observation Todd.
Shame on me for not looking back in the thread.
I was correct though.
