just took a peek at the calendar and noticed The Breakfast have only one show listed. maybe that is just a reason why they are not where we are believe they should be. i thought this year was going to be different. oh well, maybe we will see some more added in the next couple weeks or maybe they are just taking january off for some reason.

d00d, lay off the pipe.. take a look at the calender for feb. January has always been a lax month around here...obviously the philly show went really well.. what is wrong with leting a little hype build, while the band can rest, practice, work, educate, etc. do the things that need to get done, and keep the ball rolling into the furthur months...
i missed the part of the lesson where every band has to play X number of shows every month of the year in order to garner a solid fanbase.
^ well put. i think its a good idea for them to take time off to charge their batteries for the rest of the year. someone mentioned they were going to debut 3 songs at philly but they decided to wait. they knew they had 3 weeks til their next run of shows and im sure they have been working on these songs in their free time to get them ready for those dates. if they were constantly touring through january they wouldnt be able to focus 100% on these songs. i dont know about you but im looking forward to hearing some new material written as a trio.
i agree with you guys. I guess its better to take the first month of the new year off instead of sometime in march or april. in the meantime they can continue to practice as a trio so and debut some of their new material.
**** it, I don\'t what I was thinking.

cobb? i believe this is where u step in
I don\'t know about the whole take time off thing. They only played a handful of shows in Dec. and 1 scheduled in Jan.
I guess if they don\'t need the $ more power to them but 2 months off is kind of a long time. but this is of course just my opinion

I agree. It\'s not like they are getting ready to go and play 25 shows in 30 days or something. It seems like the band always puts it in neutral just when they get some momentum going playing shows and making fans.
