i know Umph is still better than a lot of bands) comes down to their location more than anything. think if The Breakfast came out of Chi-town and Umph was from CT. Power in numbers people, its really, really sad. relativity sucks!

Good point

i thought UM was a decent band until I heard the Breakfast tear down Toad\'s. It\'s just a matter of time before they hit the midwest hard. I know there is a fan base growing outside of New England! It takes a little patience but before we know it, they will be playing places too big and we will all be complaining how large it got so quick! :awwyeah:
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.

true. their music says, "It\'s inevitable."
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

as a total music lover, and the feeling that Phish was done, I began looking for a new band to devote my time to. Tried Particle, Umphreys (really believed they were the one), even the Disco Biscuits couldn\'t do it for me. It\'s not that any of the above mentioned aren\'t good, its that the Breakfast are that good. No other band is working as hard as these guys are to make it. People notice that when it comes down to it. Besides, The Breakfast are not your typical "Jam Band". The best thing Phish every did was picking a band name that could go any genre, the good ol\' Breakfast have that now. Besides, the fans are the coolest and probably won\'t die at a late night gig!!!

Well, duh!!! Yeah, if they get 30,000 votes in 18 hours, of course they\'re gonna suspect something......but 20-30 per person.....they can\'t be bothered imo
it\'s their fault for not writing their code so each person can only vote once. What did they think was going to happen?

we\'ve technically broken into the tenth spot... w/ 2.4% of the votes, just .2% below SCI.  Animal Liberation Orchestra, Assembly of Dust, and Tea Leaf Green are all tied @ 8th with 3.2% if I remeber correctly.. keep voting my fellow citizens
--------------------------------------------------although this is always brought up, reading the names of the Jambands250 is quite embarrassing.  Poor Bobby, Ratdog is just below a band called w00kie f00t..
Not sure what is gonna transpire. Regardless, we ain\'t gonna forget the gravy.

have you ever heard wookie foot or seen any of their fans?  They are a strange group of people.  THey all get **** out and dress up like a bunch of teenagers on acid.  The fans are more annoying than WP fans.  When you see one you\'ll know what I\'m talking about.
