Really.

The last few shows I have listened to have showcased some of the most inventive playing in quite a long while.

Vocally they sound better than ever of course still an acquired taste but more palpable to the non initiate than before.

Yeah they may be only playing half their songs but their musical skill repertoire is on full display.

Fully aware of each other in every song and pushing each other like crazy!

Taking songs to new levels is an understatement.

I know I have heard personal best ever\'s in the last few months that I have no doubt will be surpassed soon enough the way these guys are locked in on stage.

Oh and btw this 4th of July Toad\'s show I\'m listening to is the sickness!

I haven\'t even listened to the fourth of July show yet, but I knew what you were gonna say dude. Breakfast is on crazy fire these days. Total sickness.

Saving the 4th show for being bored @ work tomorrow.

I wasn\'t at this past Toads show--but the MP3 player is loaded up for the ride to work this morning--but I did make the one before. And the boys were on fire. I am still floored by the way the four of them toss stuff back and forth and almost sense where things are going.

... does anyone know why in the world Jordan is not singing \'jordan songs\' such as Buquebus (post fenway show) and May Fly Disarray (5/22/09). Whats the deal... ?... didn\'t he write / co-write these songs!

I think it has to do with the fact that when Jordan left the band, Tim and Adrian split the vocals (more Tim). I think that the band is comfortable with the way the songs are now, but you\'ll probably see some of the vocals shift back to Jordan. I don\'t think that you\'ll see them completely go back to him...

I was originally turned onto TPB in \'04 by the awesome vocals. ron - high / jordan- low / tim - midrange . of course the music didn\'t hurt my ears at all but I love singing ... it\'s what makes them unique more than anything else .. IMO ... Jordan must sing his parts ... nothing to be done about the highs.

Jordan sang Mayfly on the boston boat cruise last week. he\'s building his repetoire back up.

WOOHOO hopin\' for Vera St. and Escher\'s complete and mooboo>rufus>mooboo , late and great, see the light (verted ... hee hee) w/ jordan and tim singing in proper spots, chase, puppetry, love lake & SUNDANCE! Geez i might be off base but Wisc. usually gets a hot show.

I saw one WI show. at the Terrace in \'07 and it was great.

this is where i regret to inform you that Jordan will not be a part of this run. Just Tim, Chris and Adrian. But it should be great nonetheless. hope you have a blast either way. I know a few people going and it should be a pretty rowdy time.

yes I have heard Chris sing OE (toad\'s 5/16/09) and it sounds good but could he do No Regret or Dim. 5 ? don\'t get me wrong I would never suggest they employ someone soley for their Voice.

I prefer Tim\'s vocals on Mayfly. Jordan def on many of the songs, but Mayfly is right up Tim\'s alley.

thats fine but I think you\'ll agree that the layering and texture (?) is better when one person is singing one part and then a different voice comes in for the refrain or a combination of voices come in ... this is better than just one person singing ... right ... ?

He may not be going but from what I\'ve heard you might see Page McConnell sit in.... apparently he listened to the Harper\'s show and was pretty impressed.
