I bet I can come w/ a dozen more!
I here ya Chris.. My last few ABB experiences were not all that great. I started seeing them about 15 years ago and they have blown my mind on a number of occasions!
It\'s all good!
biscuits would definitely be hot.
and Dave Schools... him & Ronnie could blow the speakers out of the PA.....
DDBB would be sick... maybe on like a What The Funk or Superfly...
Biscuits would also be crazy... just saw them here in Birmingham last Wed for the first time since post Phish NYE in 1998... was ok, when they were rockin\', but most of the time they get way to techno sounding for me...
Warren sitting in w/ PB would be pretty cool. He is one of the better players in our community and a Soulshine> Vermont Song would be real nice. IMO ABB w/ Warren and Derek is the 3rd best incarnation of ABB,though slide from 2 guitars is only neat on a song or 2. ABB is no longer a band to follow but seeing them 1 or 2x a year,no prob.

I love southern rock, but Warren just doesn\'t do a thing for me. He\'s ok sitting in with people, but if any band in the history of bands ever sucked, it was Govt. Mule.
Jimmy Smith (that would be mugasmic)
David Byrne
John Mclaughlin
Jimmy Smith!
Ya know everyone has their opinion but I have to look to all the ser musicians that have practically run to play w/ the Mule. Matt Abts is one of the purest rock drummers around and Warren\'s writing and assimilation of Americana Blues is astounding. While Allen Woody was alive he was a rock and the bass players who have kept his spirit alive are top notch. While I am not a big fan of the trio turning into a quartet, Danny Louis plays some mean keys. If you like power trios playing a blues style the Mule is where it\'s at. BTW Warren would not play w/ everyone if he was not invited. Think about it.
Leith, that doesnt mean anything to me though....Suppose Trey asks him to guest again....Do u think I really feel Warren must be good because TREY wants him...Hell, Trey doesnt know music anymore if it was in sniffing distance...
