Please try to understand where I am coming from before flaming. TIA

I understand the familiarity that many feel towards Tim as he is very approachable and Timmy is how many know him. However he does not introduce himself as such and he is a grown man.

I get the whole Timmy Tour thing but they are Tim Palmieri Solo shows and when posting about going to see these shows on other boards I do see Timmy Tour dropped alot. Now someone not that familiar with his work may not get that Timmy Tour and Tim P. solo shows are the same thing.

I am just thinking out loud here on ways to better get Tim\'s name out there in a more "professional" manner.

i tend to alternate, based on my level of excitement. i usually start with tim, but then get into, \'that\'s when timmy went freakin\' nuts...\' sorta talk....

i find it hard to believe/borderline disturbing that some creepy bastard is sitting home right now(on probably a beautiful day)across the country in california,thinking about what folks should refer to someone on the complete opposite side of the country as...
i dont know..

I understand what you\'re saying Leith, but I\'m pretty sure that at least 90% of the people that view this site on a regular basis or come here for information know Tim on a personal level. I\'m can usually agree with you on most things, but I think that you\'re thinking about this way to much.

when posting shows and trying to get folks from other boards to go to shows I do refer to them as:

Tim Palmieri Solo (Inset Date and Venue)

There are those who call him Tim ?

Yeah it\'s hard to believe someone on the other side of the country is actually giving thought to small things fans can do to help promote Tim and thus the band.

As for the day( it IS 3 hours earlier here) it is gorgeous outside and as soon as I tidy up some loose business ends I plan on enjoying a few blunts with friends down in OB probably listening to the latest Breakfast show.
