It should probably be a Thursday/Friday/Saturday run, as opposed to a Sunday show during Football season...

- Giants have a buy
- Jets have the early game against the Packers
- Patriots have the afternoon game against the Vikings

This could all be a semi-worthless conversation to be discussing them playing anywhere on the 31st if Phish happens to play in any one of the 2 biggest rumoured places that have been talked about...if they play at all.  I know everyone will not get tix, but it would definitely limit the attendence, unless they did an after party in that city... yes they are rumours but I\'m just sayin is all. I guess we will know very shortly though...

Everything I\'m seeing is that Phish is confirmed for Providence for Halloween...

That being said, TB plans their shows around all their side projects, what difference would it make if they worked around a couple football games that have more viewers in one quarter than all the shows get attendance for all of 2010...

hmm. phish in providence certainly would alter the discussion... is there a city curfew out there or could an afterparty conceivably go until 4am?

and does phish know that the patriots have an afternoon game against the vikings that day? holy ****! someone get Red Light on the phone!

If Phish loses 100 fans to a football game, there\'s still 20,000 people in the arena...
If TB loses 100 fans to a football game, they\'re playing to 5 people at Sully\'s...

Provy and Albany are the most frequent that I\'ve heard... Vegas I\'ve heard mentioned as a possibility but also as part of a fall tour run... and on a long shot I had read something about Hartford but I am sure thats probably not even a shot in the dark...

Gencs, if there ever was a time to throw a meh around it\'s at all this Phish talk (and regular season NFL game conflicts). Let\'s open up the vault and throw bustouts into every setlist so people overlook the fact we don\'t take chances on improvised music anymore. Wow, a 6 minute tube! Way to raise the bar boys. Call me when Trey let\'s someone else take over a jam.

On a more serious note, long live the Freakout!

I\'m actually enjoying Phish more now than pre-hiatus (00, 03-04) because I know that songs that won\'t be stretched to 20 minutes for no reason...  I enjoy the occasional jam, but when it\'s every song for the sake of jamming, it\'s annoying...

I like the idea of a multi-band performance centered around the breakfast.

I think that a show in a city (NYC/Boston) would be better than a CT show.
