Looking for ways to promote The Breakfast?

Fan made merch is a great way to promote a band and to show the creativity of a band\'s fan community.

Sorry for this but it is a great example. Over on the TLG board threads pop up all the time with fans that have made a new sticker or shirt having to do w/ the band.

Most of them use Cafe Press and some have their own sites selling items.

There are a few fan made Breakfast items which is great, having a few different stickers would be cool though huh?

There are some great lyrics that can be worked with by these guys and I know there is more than one artist on this board.

Just a thought on how to get the word out about this band stuck in CT.

Leith it isn\'t the lack of ideas it\'s the lack of funds and start up capital. i mean look at all the logos and stuff that came out last year we had so many we had to have a bracketing voting system to try and narrow them down. Zappa, you where looking for something to do with your extra money.....

cafe press says you can\'t do anything that relates to a band, i\'ve thought about opening shop there about 8 months ago but didn\'t go through with because of that. i guess they don\'t check up on it too much then? :hscratch:

anyway, the Space City Affair shirts that were discussed months ago will be available for purchase within the next few weeks (I need to get enough cash to do the run, then I am gonna sell them on .info to recoupe my costs, the leftovers after I get my money back will be on the merch table; it was discussed to do longsleeves or hoodies, they will most likely just be t-shirts).

Yeah you probably cannot do anything that infringes on copyrights. That is where the creativity comes in and why I mentioned using lyrics. Song titles too.

my boy prints shirts for a living and i know i can hook up with a ser deal..

Anyway even a few stickers like this would be cool I think. (Non cafepress of course)

Good question. Depends on just what the copyright covers.
