PB has made it when any 2 of the following 5 conditions occur:
1. Mail-order ticketing for an entire tour.
2. At least 100 people do a whole tour of 10 or more shows.
3. Designer drugs are available in the lot. Check
4. A PB concert ticket sells on EBay for more than its face value.
5. They get Bonnaroo.
What do you think?
1. They don\'t know about half of the people who post here
2. They stop playing The Living Room Check
3. Being on the guest list saves you more than $10
4. Dave, Matt, and Chris have to fight off the other tapers for the best spot
5. We don\'t have to repeat "Psychedelic Breakfast" at least twice to get our friends to know what the hell we\'re talking about Check
So 3 for 10 = not so great.
I\'d say winning a Jammy is a good sign but that was a while ago. At this point, they will be doin\' good as long as Tim, Dangle, and Adj are still in the picture. I would like to point out that they have been making some pretty big steps in the right direction over the last few years. Having Mike Gordon sit in is huge, Headlining small fests like Sterling Stage, playing Up North, gigging w/ Particle and Umelt, (although The Breakfast should be way bigger than both those bands based on talent alone) and having Tod St00ps pseudo join the band are all good psygns. Lets all hope that Stoops figures out that The Breakfast is now his new home. Keep on touring hard in the midwest>CO>CA,
hit up the south for chrstsake, and
**** will come together. I\'ve been sayin\' that this band will blow up for years now and I know lots of folks more oldschool than I have been saying it from the get go. Lets sell out some of these upcoming shows (NoH0/Dan St/NYE)!
