Ellis is obsessed with becoming the next Kuroda. He just does not have the toys so he overcompensates. When he has a rig that is decent, he is not nearly so annoying. Toad\'s shows are a great example as he knows the rig and has what he needs to create a great show w/o being so flashy flashy.
I enjoyed the wheelhouse lighting, and stone chruch.

totally. after rereading my other posts, i think i came across too critical. i\'m not trying to bash ellis\' skills as a lighting designer. let me just say, i think he does a fabulous job. the kid\'s definitely got chops, i just don\'t like lights in my eyes/not being able to see the band. just one man\'s opinion. but seriously, i would love to see what he\'d do with a nicer rig.

I would like to see more intellilights added to upstates arsenal and stationed in a more spread out set up, along with more smoke making capabilities and more high powered strobe lights
