Internet fluffing is like hard drugs: There\'s a point up to which it\'s good, but anything beyond that brings on negative reactions really fast.
i guess...but again, since the original topic was about PT specifically, the way i see it, the only negative reactions I see in general there, at least on the Bisco and Trey boards, are from the
**** that have plagued the site over time. You have to ask yourself, how far will these negative reactions go? You have to be a real dork (even more than me) to be that guy who desides to get all bent of shape just because another band is getting fluffed or pimped or whatever you want to call it in a music related forum (of the same genre). It\'s not tough to skip over a thread, so they can take a seat on my thumb if they get pissy about it. It\'s flooded with enough nonsense already, so why not throw in a couple of Breakfast fluff threads? When it gets negative reactions, the smart readers will be able to recognize the
**** the moment they read their negative, holier-than-thou attitude responses. I personally would\'nt post up thread after thread about the Breakfast on there, and I can definitaly see where Igzi and you are coming from, but I would not give a
**** what kind of reactions I bring up in a PT forum because of the overall credibility to which it holds (which is minimal). Maybe a few years ago I would be cautious, or if it were a more official forum put together by the band rather than the fans I would be cautious just the same if not more so, but certainly not now. It\'s flooded with young hotheaded punks who would reject any other up-and-coming band just for the spite and ignorance of it all. These punks outweigh the people who are trying to discuss various topics in an intellegent way. These types of closed minded, nonexcepting people have even become more prevalant in the scene outside of the internet as well, and should/can be ignored.
