How can you compare the 2?
Southern Death Cult was a wayyy more heavier rocking band than the Cure.
The Cure may not be as rocking but the soundscapes they created and Robert\'s lyrics are tremendous.
All I know is the Cure is a great enough band for 2 of my heroes to place Robert Smith in one of the best episodes of South Park Ever. "Disintigration is the best album ever!" -Stan

Well when one places a subject next to another and describes them both which you did it is called a comparison.
The fact that you used The Cult to make a point of what you consider ok COMPARED them to the Cure. Now if you had used a more similar band like Soft Cell I could see that. Sometimes Wah you would be best served to just keep quiet when you do not know anything about a band. Yeah you may not like The Cure but I can assure you there are MILLIONS of Nonfags that love the Cure and understand Robert Smith\'s incredible contribution to Music be it playing guitar in Siouxies band or leading the Neo Romantic Gothic movement in the 80\'s and 90\'s. Anyway I got better things to do than give you a music history lesson. Out!
