When they covered Mahavishnu that was cool, stuff thats good, not generic.  That Gong song too, more obscure stuff so they can make the cover their own..

"regular" covers need to be transformed into "their" own song

a one time cover, can stay as the original

i could live with out the dead covers too. Honestly I\'d rather hear them cover phish songs because they have proven can actually do them ser justice. Especially if the main reason for playing dead tunes is to entice lame crowds/ new fans. And there is so many good ones to chose from. Phish covers obviously have a stigma/taboo attached to them though. But the skill the breakfast can execute them with should take care of that.
