Not sure what is gonna transpire. Regardless, we ain\'t gonna forget the gravy.

Ok here is my idea.

Driving home today I was thinking about this thread and Purple Haze came on the radio. And I was reminded of a story about Jimi Hendrix and the Beatles. If I remember the story correctly it goes a little something like this.

Taken from the wiki because I would have butchered this story:

"On June 4 1967, the Experience played their last show in England, at London\'s Saville Theatre, before heading off to America. The Sgt. Pepper\'s album had just been released on June 1st and two Beatles (Paul McCartney and George Harrison) were in attendance, along with a roll call of other UK rock stardom: Brian Epstein, Eric Clapton, Spencer Davis, Jack Bruce, and pop singer Lulu. Jimi chose to open the show with his own rendition of "Sgt. Pepper\'s Lonely Hearts Club Band", crafted minutes before taking the stage, much to McCartney\'s astonishment and delight."

So here was my thought. The Breakfast should get a copy of Radioheads new album due out in the next week. They should learn this album in and out and perform it live ala Hendrix and Sgt Peppers (or just a few tracks depending). I wouldn\'t be surprised if it got some press if not in the typical circles but perhaps much larger.
"You can bet everything will come to an end. It's going to be ugly and it's going to be a mess, and it's going to be something that somebody did in the name of God...."

if they did flower punk lyrics over the slowed down hey joe style chords it would be more to my liking. flower punk is just too much playa hatin\' the way it is

I would love them to stop playing so many covers.  Cut it down to one or two that they own or get a little more esoteric with them(i.e. Squarepusher, \'Journey to Reedham\').  Step it up on your own songs and bring the heat.

as far as zappa is concerned, i\'d rather hear a ser instrumental or at least something with a "hey this is where all current jambands got their sound" vibe, like echidnas, peaches, cleetus, etc. even pygmy twylyte or king kong.  its like covering bug instead of yem or golgi, imho
flower punk is def a good tune, just not as a cover by a band capable of mastering just about anything.
