Wow... I guess then, maybe, if you look at all songs as a tribute to other songs of the past, then Synergy is the greatest "tribute" song in the world.  On the note of tribute, I think TB should cover Explosivo!

Synergy is not, the greatest song in the world.

It is just a tribute.

Soo anyways this Tunage is really awesome. I fuckin love it. It prettymuch almost makes up for all those Tunage vocal jams. And Synergy is a great song to reel in some n00bs as well as to produce some ser jams. I have to see Synergy, Metropolis, and IAQ a few more times and really get to know em, but I definately like where things are headed.

after having just listened to 8/15 Tunage I think it\'s got nothing on Utica Synergy.

not even close

bdfree it\'s funny you mention that, i just listened to this show today!!! sucks its not in the 2008  category, but....

the fiery ball>space oddessey>rufus is absolutely unbelievable. i\'ve heard it a few times, but today i listened to it with headphones on and i got chills down my spine. the space oddessey jam mainly did it, but the whole section is just out of this world.

Now back to 2008, that tunage was amazing. way better than synergy, which still hasn\'t blossomed fully yet. this might be a tune they want to rework after all that has been said about it... and i kinda agree with some of the comments, though i still think it\'s a "melting pot" of general jam songs. has potential.

i just read everything. here are my opinions. tunage is a better song than synergy, barely.

i like synergy alot, if ripoffs make a band shitty then phish is the worst band ever. period.

prog rock is good. a little too "elite" for me, as in, it sounds too busy but they\'re sick musicians so its the best ever.

i\'ll take bluegrass any day, sick musicians sounding JOHNNY BLAZE.

Bfast is about jams, everytime. Listen to BDfree. the jams is epic. syn is  jam vehicle, not "the best song ever written"

I wouldn\'t listen to this band if they didn\'t jam when they shouldn\'t.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

i love prog rock except when its being used against bfast. right now the band is composed of the sickestmusicains ev. just wait till old faves start emerging in epic versions
