Stating opinions, giving information out or defending the band from a misconception on a fan forum is understandable and acceptable.

Taking that any further and directly insulting ANY FAN on the forum is classless and totally out of line.

Band Members should take the high road if they feel directly insulted and reply via PM or have Dave take care of the offending posts if the complaint is legit.

heres some food for thought that me and tim have discussed several times:
Why do people start rock bands, or go on the road with rock bands, or follow rock bands and so on??
Not to work a 9-5 and to pretty much say **** rules. Last I checked, the glory of rock n\' roll is wraped in the cozy blanket of defiance and rebellion. So I say keep talking guys, especially Doozer, he gets his balls broken a lot and he should have the right to give something back every so often.

Amen brother.

I think its great that the band members participate in the fan forum. I like that they make themselves accessible to their fans. It makes it seem more real to me. I dig on that.

Hoping to hit the westcott/java run here coming up. I might have to sell a kidney or something.

while i understand leith\'s position, i profer an alternate...

i think the band members should ONLY post flames and degradations!!

imagine meeting up at a show and being able to get into discussions about what **** up stuff the band had to say about you?!

some quality posts above. I don\'t feel like putting in a whole lot of effort here today.. but I like the fact that the band members post on the forum. Besides its the Breakfast who really gives a **** what they\'re "supposed to do"... rock and roll baby
