I don\'t think band members should post in a normal manner on a fan forum.

Stating opinions, giving information out or defending the band from a misconception on a fan forum is understandable and acceptable.

Taking that any further and directly insulting ANY FAN on the forum is classless and totally out of line.

Band Members should take the high road if they feel directly insulted and reply via PM or have Dave take care of the offending posts if the complaint is legit.

:shrug: I think the band has the right to comment on THEIR band, since, technically, this forum wouldn\'t exist w/o them. That being said, I do agree w/ you leith. The only comments should be for clarification purposes, or in good nature.

Let\'s be honest, 99% of the people on this site are on a personal level with the band. If the band does something that we don\'t like, we call them out and vice versa... No harm done...

Not playing Sweden, although I don\'t agree with Leith, I understand what he\'s saying. His point is that fans pay the bill. If you insult the fans, they stop paying the bills. That being said, Leith has every right to expression his opinion in this online "forum".

yeah we are all well aware that Leith has a right to post his whining threads. And I get it too, bad idea too insult your fans, but come on, was anyone really insulted or is this just another chance for Leith to **** about what the band does.

There is something beautiful about seeing your favorite band\'s members talk some first-hand smack to fans on a first-name basis. Don\'t kill the specialness of it leith, a little controversy makes for a whole lotta rock & roll.
