hypothetically speaking, what would everyone say if the other option for 10/31 was the Webster? Just hypothetically...

then hypothetically, I would wish the band luck

It\'s obvious they didn\'t sign up to play the Oberlin show to get paid chump change so they may as well cash in on a big pay day. It\'s only one night out of three they\'re doing for the Freakout run, though it\'s just unfortunate it falls in the second show slot, so who cares if almost everyone has to miss it. It\'s only going to be a 90 minute set so it\'s not like you\'ll be missing a whole lot anyways. Besides, there are plenty of other weekends they can do the Buquebus Saga.

God forbid this band ever makes any money.  Good for them, maybe with a little positive cash flow we can suspend the current trend of someone quiting the band every year.  And if OMS had anything to do with the band getting over paid for a gig, we should commend him. It\'s more than most of us have ever done.

I wouldn\'t mind it, last freakout there (star wars) wasn\'t too bad (attendance wise, if I remember correctly). I think a big thing for the freakout is to get a solid opening act which has a small fanbase of their own, then hopefully if a short sit in happens at the end of the set those people will all stay for the whole show.

I sometimes wonder which dotinfoers really wants the band to succeed. It\'s like rooting for your favorite baseball team to suck so season ticket prices won\'t go up.

i\'m probably the only person who\'d be really psyched for the webster, that\'s a hell of a lot closer to where i live.  repeat the one from a few years ago where rane opened and i\'d be a very happy girl. :)

i\'m going to go back to bitching about them not playing in boston again

For me that would be the deal breaker between seeing all three shows and seeing one/none

is that option still on the table....hypothetically speaking of course....

If they could hypotherically get webster, what type of effort would it take to pack it?
