i think the cover is fine how it is, without adding anything else.

i think that "sign" is either a beehive on display or an antfarm. my first thought when i saw it was antfarm,

The first batch of Jim\'s take is WAY more professional looking.. I think the other font is kind of cheesy, almost high school media tech-ish. I say #2 from the first batch. It\'s.... polished.

How about either putting the band name and title in the sign, a logo in the sign, or a photo of the band (PB era) in the sign? Perhaps touching it up in photoshop to look aged.

As for compensation, how about free shows for life?

I wouldn\'t add any images to Jim\'s idea. I think doing that would take a lot away from the photo.
