The upgrade of the forum and portal is complete, but that\'s just the beginning.

You\'ll probably notice there\'s a LOT missing right now. I\'m going to be addressing these things on Friday. For now, it\'s pretty barebones around here.

The gallery is closed for the time being.

If you run into anything that\'s just plain wrong (and I\'m sure you will), post about it in this thread.

vBlue will be the only style available for a bit, as bringing the rest over will require a lot of work.

I\'ll be more than happy to donate another $20 for this upgraded site, time, effort and energy aren\'t cheap.

- check out the new editors. click on the A/A in the top-right, and you can see what your post will actually look like as you edit it.

- also, try editing one of your posts. it can now be done right within the post itself!

- event attendance is back.

- you can switch between vertical and horizontal postbits from the thread itself (click Display Modes to see what i\'m talking about).

just for the time being.. but i\'ll warn you that the vBlack and Legacy styles coming back is definitely not at the top of the list of thigs to do (translation: probably won\'t be done this weekend with everything else)..

I can\'t see avatars on the threads, this was a problem I had before the update as well. Is there some option I didn\'t choose or something?

UserCP > Edit Options > Thread Display Options > Show Avatars

thanks dave, just a note, the little buttons above the box where i\'m typing this reply (image, link, quote, bold, italic, etc) straight dont work. they are not buttons for me, just images...

cobb, try clearing your browser\'s cache. they\'re working fine for me in IE and FF..

testing doublepost prevention...

in the editor, if you type something normally and highlight it, and click the B, you will see \'bold\' tags around the text.

if you click on the icon i mentioned above and do the same, your text will actually be bold, rather than show the tags.
