I hate to say it, but I see the Angels making the series, don\'t really pay too much attention to the NL but LA will at least win the AL.

they\'re an odd team.  For the most part they just suck but it seems like they always give New York and Boston a run for their money, more so NY though

AL East is gonna come right down to the wire.  the 1/2 game is gone, so we\'re up by two but, shit this could really go either way.  should be an exciting month of Baseball.

Well the Padres blew their chance to put a cushion on their wild card hopes. By losing last night they\'re now tied with the Phillies in the wild card and are 1 game ahead of the Rockies. I really hope they don\'t blow this. Though with all the weird stuff that happened over the weekend (Bradley, Cameron) I wouldn\'t be surprised if they\'ve lost focus.

Milton Bradley is the biggest idiot in all of baseball.

His coach should have just punched him right in the face.

I\'m surprised that the Sox/Yankee season has turnout to be so close. I thought the Sox had nailed the coffin shut. Guess I was wrong and thats why they play the games.

Come on... everyone else knew better than that. Sox fans started worrying right after the damn All Star break. Per usual.

i am not a fan of the yanks but i knew all along they would be right there come october because of the year a-rod has had. He carried the team on his back most of the season until everything else fell into place. it is going to be really sad (for yankee fans)if he chokes in the play offs again because the yanks would be no where this year without him.

It\'s baseball man, if it was football or basketball I\'d agree but wiht baseball there are soooo many games anything can really happen.

yup, but we didn\'t do too badly, the buffer we had sure helped.

It wasn\'t about the sox sucking they really didn\'t suck all that bad there was some really good baseball in there.  It wasn\'t about the sox being bad but the Yanks being really really good.  They have the best post all star record in baseball.  (or did as of last week or so)

After tonight we have a 3 game lead with 5 games left.  Anything can happen, but especially the way the Yanks were using their pitching tonight (it seemed like they\'re already thinking about saving arms for the post season), it\'s looking pretty good for Boston.
