See The Light

@ See The Light

Look into the light and see
I dig it and I dig you and
I dig everything all around me
I\'m the eternal cosmic being
Flowing in an endless rainbow
Spreading peace and harmony
Moonbeam rays from a flower\'s eye
Painting colors in the sky
Doorways opening space and time
Dreams of ecstasies in flight
Living them now it is right to
Free your mind and See The Light

Souls soar above the heaven\'s cloud
I\'m lost and I\'ll never be found
Sunflowers bloom colors reveal
Across the sky never looked so real

The world becomes suddenly clear
I\'m free of hate and I\'m free of fear
Visions dance before my eyes
Across the neverending skies

Sinking, I\'m sinking in a sea of thoughts
Flying, I\'m flying in a world of dreams
Dying, I\'m dying in the arms of love
But I\'m trying to See The Light
(x2)

Just listening to a tasty version, 12-16-05, check this if you haven\'t, great sound quality! Well I wanted to peep the lyrics and I see that there are no comments yet?

This, to me, is one of the core, killer, show maker songs in the catalog. Yes, I love the Buquebus from the Fox Stand, but check that STL! Nasty.

I have never heard a bad version. The song is a platform for jams to go in any direction, type 2, type 3, type it!

Great song.  I wish they would go back to playing it the way it was recorded...

The song has indeed gone through a bit of evolution. From originally being super tight with that uplifting vibe, to getting a little heavier and looser jamming and more experimental.... but these days The Breakfast is pretty consistently busting out some of their best versions of whatever song they play.

So I\'ll take it however they feel like playing it. Although I do prefer it played as an intermediary between a couple heavy hitters. I never really did consider STL a real heavy hitter, as much as I think it\'s probably one of their better songs in terms of composition and catchy-ness, it works best to usually keep the jam short and sweet and use it sort of as a tool to offer temporary relief from the dark, grimy insanity that is better suited to some of their other songs.
Put the pointed pencil in the pepper-po and take a little sniff of the things below. :sadban:

This rec is so money. Thanks so much!! Loving this show.

See the Light is one of my fave Bfast tunes. Digging the crispiness of this show, superb quality. Really enjoying the Superfly and Harry>Gods segment.

I LOVE this version:
