No Regret

@ NO REGRET

Four times over plus one more
Situation I deplore
Baby’s innocence I wonder
Is it there for me?

Questions I should never ask
Love the circumstance
Inhibits me to handle histories
With some security

Now my heart is sickened
Blackened, and wishing
I never asked that question
How can my heart forget?

Baby’s honesty
She came through for me
Revealing personal secrecies
How can my heart forget?

Jealousy runs through my brain
Envious it pains the same
Hypocrite I shouldn’t be
My thoughts aren’t close to tame

Sitting here I feel a tear
Cause I really love you dear
I want to clear away regret and
Live with you for years

Help my heart it’s sickened
And wishing for under-
Standing why I am tripping
I need to learn no regret

Baby’s secret to me
Revealing her story
A sign that she wants to be with me
Living with no regret

Admiring inspiring baby lives with no regret
Hiring that fire you bring baby show me no regret
Feelings burning churning can we live with no regret?
Learning yearning turning we can live with no regret

Just really dig on this tune. I think Chris could handle the vocals; how about it fellas?

Isn\'t NR usually sung by Tim?

I\'m sure Chris could handle the vocals but in my imagination Tim sings this one a little bit better. Of course everybody can pitch in for "living with no regret!" ...

But yeah.. I love this song. Would be pumped to hear it again any time.

how can my heart forget?

it seems like almost yesterday they were playing no regret, inner glimpse and sleeping beauty at EVERY show.  miss it now, but got so tired of it then.

fo sho. i miss 2005. i miss being 21. i miss midwest breakfast.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash
