man... these are prime opportunities to get show info into peoples hands without even putting in much effort. i gave Tim electronic copies of the fliers last week so there shouldn\'t be any excuse......... well maybe there can be, but damn. i haven\'t been down to catch a TT in a while but if there is consistently 80-100 people in there that\'s at least theoretically another 5-10-20 people you could sway towards the show. just simple things being overlooked....... disheartening.......

I guess the band would prefer to open for bands in their hometown (like back when they started out).  If this is a dooze, I\'m sure Toad\'s won\'t be interesting in committing to another headliner anytime soon.

Creek draws less than tB these days. At least at Toad\'s. Even though that ignores your point entirely.

well Toad\'s can\'t complain too much either. it\'s also there responsibility to get some heads through the door as well. especially since they\'re gonna be getting hit with a fine and forced to close there doors for a couple weeks..... i don\'t think anybody is truly pulling there weight which is leaving a lot of slack..ers..... i can imagine it must be tough but i\'ve noticed a sharp decline in Toad\'s enthusiasm towards everybody not only the Breakfast. does any one see much promo coming from Toad\'s for other events or is it just me. Venues just aren\'t doing their part to let people know whats going on and considering the Breakfast rarely gets promo out.... ahhh whatever i\'m spinning my wheels in mountains of mud. if everyone is so adamant about the success of this band why all the holes....

Sad thing is CT is quickly becoming a state where many good bands (Railroad Earth, Donna The Buffalo, TLG) won\'t even consider playing due to dissapointing experiences here in the past. This sentiment has been stated as fact by members of some of these bands. I  mean really, how many top notch acts have come through here lately?  The music scene in CT has been pretty dismal lately if you ask me.  Have you seen the recent listing of bands coming to the Webster? Though the place sucks in extraordinary ways, at least you used to recognize the names of some of the bands playing there.  My $0.02, continue on.
"Anyone who knows a god damn thing about this band and has been there as long as some of us have, know god damn well that this show was something special." Ren re: Toads 8/23/07
