British rap fans love to bonePeople who listen to hip hop and dance music are more likely to get laid, according to the results of a study released in Great Britain last week.AdvertisementReuters reports that psychologist Adrian North from the University of Leicester surveyed 2,500 Britons on their musical tastes and how they related to their lifestyles and interests. His findings? Almost 38% of hip hop fans and 29% of dance music fans were more likely to have had more than one sexual partner in the last five years - as compared to only 1.5% of country music fans.But, if you believe the study, it\'s more than sex that separates devotees of one musical genre from another. More than 50% of hip hop and dance music fans have admitted to committing a criminal act, while 25% of classic music fans have smoked marijuana and 12% of opera fans have experimented with hallucinogenic ********* (because, hey, apparently you haven\'t lived until you\'ve \'shroomed to Pavarotti)."Surprisingly, there have been very few studies on how people\'s age, sex, socioeconomic status and personality relate to the music they enjoy listening to," says North, who runs the website http://www.musicaltastetest.com. He\'s looking to recruit 10,000 people via the web for his next study.
