Alright, so I can\'t get the damn Wet Sand link to upload on this site.
Coyote=no like computer
DavePeck thinks it\'s probably a fake anyway.  He\'s probably right, but I\'ve been wanting to hear JF do a lead vocal for while, so against my better judgement I\'m hoping it\'s not. I\'m also hoping it sounds a little better on the final cut, than on this boot.

If anyone would like to hear for themselves and weigh in shoot me an email, and sooner or later I\'ll send it to you.

I just listened to By The Way for the first time since its release. I just laid back and was literally taken away. The RHCP are probably the best American rock band playing/recording right now. All I could think of was Beatles, Beatles, Beatles. Rubin\'s subtleties really stuck out (ie the strings, properly placed synth and keys etc) and Keidis has taken his b-boy writing style to the next level.  An epic album of minimalism.

04.10.06 Red Hot Chili Peppers Makes History at Radio

The Red Hot Chili Peppers\' "Dani California" (Warner Bros.) this week becomes the second song ever to debut atop Billboard Radio Monitor\'s Modern Rock chart. R.E.M. was the first to accomplish this feat doing so in the Sept. 16, 1994 issue of Monitor. "Dani California" is the Chili Peppers\' ninth No. 1, a new record for the format. The quartet had previously been tied with Green Day and U2 for all-time Modern Rock chart toppers. The track enters the chart with 2,558 spins which is the highest single week tally of any song in 2006 and the highest single week debut total since "Somewhere I Belong" hit the chart with 3,114 detections. Detections were garnered at all 75 of the panel\'s reporters with 73 stations recording Airplay Adds for six or more spins.

"Dani California" also becomes the first song to debut in the top five at Modern, Active Rock and Heritage Rock in the same week. The track enters the Active Rock chart at No. 2, that chart\'s highest debut since the June 6, 2003 issue when Metallica\'s "St. Anger" opened at No. 1 with 1,725 spins. This week\'s total of 1,435 is the third highest single week debut trailing "St. Anger" and "Somewhere I Belong". 58 of the 60 monitored reporters spun the song at least six times for Airplay Adds with spins detected at all 60 stations. At Heritage Rock, "Dani California" enters at No. 4 which equals the debut of Pearl Jam\'s "World Wide Suicide" in the March 17 issue and its 303 spins is the most for a debut since Van Halen\'s "It\'s About Time" opened with 423 in the June 4, 2004 issue.

kinda old but I just stumbled onto this:John Frusciante, Red Hot Chili Peppers\' guitarist, has covered Radiohead\'s \'You and whose army\' at the Los Angeles Weekly Music Awards. John played the song from Amnesiac on acoustic guitar. Although the video quality is not that good, you might want to check out this bootleg video of the performance. [thanks Nitan]

I can\'t download at work, but theres the link anyway.
