While I\'m on the subject of lyrics-  In Strip My Mind (09 Jupiter) it starts out "Arthur J. did indicate it..."

The only "Arthur J." I\'m familiar w/ is Finklestein. For those of you who haven\'t heard of this buffoon, he is an ultra-conservative facist strategist, who is also a homosexual jew.  That\'s right.  Sort of the real life equiv. of Dave Chappelle\'s black klansman.  This can\'t possibly be the ref. can it?  Unless they find him so ridiculous they had to throw a mention?  No, no can\'t be.  Someone out there knows the real ref., and yes I\'m that obsessed that it will bother me not to know.
A man who has seen the things I have seen,
experienced the loss and pain I have experienced,
I transcend race, hombre.

How \'bout those backing vocals?!  Caught myself signing them aloud a few times.  Have to keep up a front of sanity at work.

I sing this song all the time at work...Love the back vocals and the guitar solo. My co-workers are really starting to get sick of Stadium Arcadium, Im not.

so i just got done watching the Stadium Arcadium bonus DVD for the first time, and i was really impressed.. Dani California video, half-hour making-of the video, and over an hour of commentaries from Anthony & Flea and Chad & John about 25 of the 28 songs on the album. i was gonna listen to see if they said anything about the "Arthur J." line, but Strip My Mind is of course one of the three songs that doesn\'t have a commentary!

the box set is really cool, and worth it for the dvd alone. but the CD packaging inside the box is different than the normal CD. so, being the completist that i am, i just placed an order for the standard Stadium Arcadium, along with Dani California 1 and Dani California 2.

Stadium Arcadium is the 1st RHCP album w/o the word "fuck" in the lyrics.
(It\'s their 9th overall)
Quote from: Anthony Kiedis
"Fuck em, just to see the look on their face"

I can\'t help but find that funny.  That\'s what I get for taking this too seriously.

Chili Peppers Post \'Stadium\' At No. 1

For the first time in their 22-year career, Red Hot Chili Peppers score a No. 1 album on The Billboard 200. The two-disc "Stadium Arcadium" (Warner Bros.) sold 442,000 copies in the United States in its debut week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The total is the band\'s career best sales week, beating the opening week of 2002\'s "By The Way," which bowed at No. 2 with 282,000.

"Stadium Arcadium" is RHCP\'s ninth studio effort and its fifth top 5 entry. The album\'s first single, "Dani California," is also the group\'s ninth No. 1 on Billboard\'s Modern Rock chart, the most by any artist.
