this is probably my toughest vote so far. DMB is an incredibly rockin\' tune that will get any show going full steam. but SOS makes me smile so hard sometimes, it hurts. SOS by a nosehair.

I love Son Of Simpleton and wish it were played more frequently in 2005.  It\'s easy enough to add to a setlist since it usually clocks in around 1.5 - 2 minutes.

Drunk Monk Bar

SOS is a special tune but it has nothing compared to the energy that can be unleashed during DMB.

Drunk Monk Bar just rocks. Bona Fide\'s gets my best air guitar solos goin.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

An excellent first-round pairing. I voted and predicted Simpleton and I expect a late charge.

This was a definately a tough matchup to call.....
Nothing brings more joy to my face than a breakfast/solo timmy SOS.....well being at a show where SOS is played and Mikey Helluvahat is in the audience.....

but i just could not go against the Drunk Monk...

Drunk Monk just seems to me to be an average rock song while SOS has a unique quality about it that lends to more of the jamming that i like.
