Score, hands down. while PBB has one rockin\' section that i love, the rest almost makes me cringe. AGP horns on RR Score give it a little extra umph..

Gotta go with Score here myself. Although the PBB from the Lions Den was insane, I just think Score is a more all around solid song. The AGP horns doesn\'t hurt the RR version either.

Never really liked PBB right from the beginning, so it would have been unlikely to get my vote. Against Score, it stands no chance.

definitely thought this one would be closer, but glad Score is off to a good early lead.

im a huge reggae fan, but PBB has lyrical waste. better lyrics wouldve taken my vote, and even though Score isnt top-shelf either, i just threw my Biscuit in Its Basket. just a sick sick groove.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

PBB has a time and place. On 4/20 it fits in. And, when I come into a show, return from setbreak, or getting blazed on the floor. Then it works for me. PBB at the Lions Den though is still my favorite.

Voted Phaddy, predicted Score. I know Phaddy isn\'t an "in" song right now, but I have to believe the old-school fave makes a run and keeps it close before losing.

To be fair...

Keith Olbermann, former Sportscenter anchor who works for CNBC, actually coined the phrase in the mid-90\'s. When someone scored a goal in hockey, he\'d say "He put the biscuit in the basket."

Fast forward to Summer 2001 when I arrive at Tim\'s and he tells me that he\'s writing a song using terms and phrases that could work for sex or athletics, hence the title. I looked at the screen and saw the last line: "tiscuit and a tasket." Tim said, "I need something after that." I immediately thought of biscuit in the basket. For one, it fit perfectly in terms of rhyme and meter. For two, one can put the biscuit in one\'s basket in both sexual and athletic circumstances. It really was one of those situations where everything fell into place. Tim instantly said he was using it once I explained the line\'s history.

So I take no credit for originality or creativity, but take tons of credit for having a memory loaded with irrevelant shit that occasionally results in something good. I mean, what else could have possibly fit after "tiscuit and a tasket." Furthermore, what the fuck does that even mean? Either way, I\'m appreciative of the album note props. It was cool to be involved in the creative process no matter how accidental.

All this said, I still like Phaddy better.

The fact that I voted Phaddy? The fact that Score is winning? The fact that Dave is disappointed that I voted Phaddy? Or, the fact that I kinda sorta came up with the semi-chorus of Score in a completely backass way?

It was shocking before you posted that previous post. I read Dave\'s and posted, but you must have gotten it in before mine went up, obviously. I retract my statement after your clarification.

Neat. Tim and I are currently writing the lyrics for BOO-YA!, which will be included on the forthcoming album: "Cool as the Other Side of the Pillow."

this is weak. i am just dissapointed. Phaddy was the song that made me first listen to the breakfast in the first place. Sounds great in a car with some ser woofers. A bit of a genre jump for breakfast, but a great anthem. This sucks...
