well it was the first time i have tried the blumlien technique so to speak.

I think it is a very real representation of what it sounded like standing in the field. The recording technique may take a little getting used to but all the instruments are there, the vocals are clear etc.

I would have to sat\\y if i did the same technique again I would want to be like 15 - 20 feet closer probably but It was the best pull from sunday ( I had some issues with the other recordings from this day at strangecreek but the taping Gods smiled on the breakfast so the recording came out pretty good)

If you were trying to decide between the beardslee and this 1 i would give the nod to beardslee but they are very different recording styles

Eventually I will be getting them all. Thanks for the heads up. Thanks also for taping. I will be interested in hearing this recording to see if I can notice any change in the technique or anything like that.
