Subject: [PB Fans] PB in UMass\'s daily paper 10/19/01

After tracking down the Collegian\'s (UMass\'s Daily
newspaper, circulation: 30,000) jam band columnist a
few weeks ago and informing him of PB, he has finally
mentioned them in one of his articles.  He hasn\'t seen
them yet and he is UMass\'s jam band correspondent.  If
he hasn\'t heard of PB, he doesn\'t know the jam scene
which he writes for at his own school.  Anyways, I
promised him some live recordings to get him writing
about PB in New England\'s largest daily college
newspaper, but I have been so busy with school work
that I haven\'t gotten around to it yet.  Today he
finally mentioned them even though he doesn\'t have any
PB in his collection.  His article definately proves
that he has been researching PB and will most likely
see them soon.  I guarantee that we see a lot more of
PB in the news once I get him his PB.  Anyways, this
is what appeared in the paper today:

New Groove of the Week:
PSYCHEDELIC BREAKFAST

These groovesters from New Haven are lighting up the
New England jam band scene.  With their complex
arrangements and powerful jams, these guys will be
here to stay.  On any given night they break out
tributes to some of their favorite bands.  Most common
are covers from Phish, the Dead, Zappa, Zeppelin, or
even the Red Hot Chili Peppers.  With their varied
setlists and exciting performances, PB has been a
Butterfield favorite throughout their two year career.
They are finally beginning to gain wide acclaim
around the scene.  Check them out when they play the
Springdale Turn Hall in Holyoke, Mass. on Friday, Nov.
2.

That\'s all for now, I\'m sure he\'ll have plenty more in
the near future

wasn\'t he on hiatus or something then?
Light travels faster than sound. That is why some people appear bright...until you hear them speak.
