couldn\'t have said it better. in last year\'s Staven tournament, Tolli\'s delivered a nice shitpie and was eliminated by Paul\'s in the first round. maybe they\'re more concerned about their remodeling that they have been working on for about 3 years now than they are with making pizza.

ant, you know paul\'s closed, right? it\'s a shame too, as i\'d just discovered them last year during the staven tourney, and they made their way into #3 in Staven for me (behind #1 J&M\'s and #2 Guiseppe\'s)..

Ant, I do have to agree they have declined, but I am a woman of tradition......and my grand papy would roll over in his grave if I didnt proclaim tolli\'s the best.  I\'ve been eatting that pizza since I had my baby teeth......if I had to venture away from staven pizza, I must say I love the pizza at bar....also the salad they have there is excellent.

Dave, do you know they raised the prices so they can pay for the remodeling??   The subs have gone up two dollars and so have the bottles of the foxon park soda.......   I\'ve heard from an inside source that they are doing this cause funds are running low and they want to pave that freaking parking lot.....    I once again, being a woman of tradition, think this remodeling thing was a bad idea.   I\'ll always remember tolli\'s as the way it was......with the leather booths that stuck to your ass in the summer, with the  convenience store next door........   they will never be a fancy resturant....

John and Maria\'s is damn good.  I love their Italian Flag pie, although when I had it 18 months ago it was the last time I ate red meat, thanks to the damn Pecoraro family :)  Also not to be forgotten is The Deli in Foxon.  They slide under the radar because it\'s not a strictly pizza joint, but they make some fine pie, and in a pinch you can get it by-the-slice.  Say, I can\'t believe I didn\'t think of it before, but The Deli should take one of those open spots in the Superhaven Pizza Tourney, if there are any left.

ah wolfie, showin\' the lack of Staven geography knowledge. ;)

i live in Foxon. The Deli (aka Little Italy) is in the Momauguin section of Staven, down by Adrian.. (though technically Momauguin is furthur down)..

dollar for dollar, The Deli aka Little Italy\'s pizza is good.
$10 for a large with any amount of toppings!!! I\'ve never seen that before this place, and it\'s pretty good.  I\'d suggest the chicken & broccoli red or white, or pepperoni & meatball if you don\'t mind a little grease.  Experiment!  I got John & Maria\'s literally around the corner from me so I don\'t make too many stops unless I\'m in momouguin.

I don\'t think I could ever eat pizza from the deli, just for the fact it looks like a crack shack.

maybe so, but Tolli\'s looks all fancy-schmancy now and the pizza isn\'t as good as it used to be, what\'s that tell ya?
Last time i had Tolli\'s i burnt my mouth and tongue real bad trying to satisfy herbal induced hunger (wink, wink) by eating a oil-soggy pepperoni pizza with my friend Glenn. The waitress said that she honestly never saw two people eat a large that fast  ...haven\'t been back since.

Paul\'s is closed??? Ouch! When? As you can see I haven\'t spent a whole lot of time in town since September.

As for Tolli\'s, I agree Skye, I have been eating Tolli\'s since I was a baby too but I just can not do it anymore. The quality of everything there has just gone rock bottom, including their subs and service.

I think I have had Little Italy (Deli) once even though I can basically spit on it from my house. Wasn\'t all that bad, and for the money ya can\'t go wrong. But when I walk in there I\'ll just stick with the chicken cutlet from The Deli, so delicious. . .

Aww man, a strike against me in my lifelong quest to achieve honorary Italian status and Staven citizenship.  I thought I remebered the soda factory being up the street from The Deli, but I guess it\'s the momauguinitis doing the thinking.  Well whatever, I say Little Italy should get a spot in the tourney if there\'s still a controversy there.

Ant, I agree on that.....  I love the deli for the fact its the only place in town to get a sandwich at 1 am besides my grandmother\'s kitchen.  But I still question the pizza there, maybe i should try it the next time I am stopping in to get a midnight drink.....

Skye, the pizza is not served as a late night snack, go with the Italian Combo sub, only cos the people workin that late can\'t make a chicken cutlet or a chicken parm, takes them like 20 minutes. . . (way too many late night Deli run\'s for me)
