Psychedelic Breakfast shows new to archive
« on: November 24, 2020, 09:38:53 am »
Hello,

I’m a new member here. I have dug into my vault and found a bunch of recordings from 2002 that aren’t on archive. I recently uploaded a few new ones and now have 8/31/02 UVM and 5/31/02 paradise Boston . I have an unlabeled disc I’m trying to figure out where it’s from. It’s on a disc w talib kweli so trying to figure out the festival they played w talib. I was thinking Adirondack fest 2003 in NY but can’t find a date.

Welcome!!!!!

Thank you so much for sharing these shows from your vault. It is always like Christmas for me when a new show appears.

I can help you with the show date. Do you know any of the songs played?

It's so cool to see some new blood! It's quiet here these days but for a Breakfast fan, this site is a real treasure.

I found this show date. Could this be it? There is no known setlist but this could be another piece of the puzzle.

08/24/03 (Sun)  Soul Flow @ Moose River Amphitheatre - Lyonsdale, NY

Also:

08/21/04 (Sat)  Secluded Forest Festival @ Moose River Amphitheatre - Lyonsdale, NY
Set 1: Taboo Or Not Taboot, Wake Up In A Coma > Puppetry, Inner Glimpse, What The Funk > No Glove No Love, No Regret, Buquebus

Food for thought!! ;D

*Thought 1: 'A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members'
Thought 2: 'In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That’s why you always feel smarter after a few beers'
