This is week 3 of our competitive season and we are missing 3 players from this performance (bass, orchestra bells and auxiliary voices). Still a long ways to go to get this thing dialed in where we want it to be but I hope you enjoy the Naugatuck Percussion Ensemble's unique interpretation of "The Grand Scheme of Things"!

This is very very cool folks. Definitely check this out. There was a point, and I'm not exactly sure which change it is, but I seriously got that warm feeling in the cheeks where you can't help but smile and....well, mission accomplished. Nice work by all.

I am the percussion director. I am an alumni of the NHS program and have been instructing there since '99. IN the recent few years I have picked the show theme, Divided Sky in 2018, Guyute in 2018, Scheme for this year.  This genre of music is an untapped resource for great music to translate to the percussion based voices we use. I am very thankful to Tim for allowing us the opportunity to do this piece for this year.  We're taking this show on the road to the national championships in Dayton to play at the Nutter Center in April.  This group hasn't been to nationals in just about 11 years... I am so happy to be bringing this show to the big dance.

Keep an eye out in a few weeks, the group will be getting the MKDevo treatment! We still have lots to clean to dial it in. But thank you, I am very much humbled by everyone's responses!
