Anybody know a truly free download of one that really works? I\'ve download 4 scamaramas so far. If not, a reasonably priced easy to use one would be good.

What about itunes? That is free and pretty easy to use. I understand if you dont want to get tangled up in the Apple products. But its the first one that comes to mind.

My only cation with itunes is that is rips cd\'s to m4a files... Then when you try to make an mp3 disk, you have to then convert those files to mp3s.  If you dont have an actual ipod, i dont know if other mp3 devices will play the itunes files.

Mark, are you a pc or mac user? If youve got a pc, i think you can use windows media player to do it?
Best people to ask would probably davepeck, matt v or chris fitz.

Not completely true... You can change the import setting to mp3 and you don\'t have the m4a issue...

Yeah, itunes gives you the option of many formats from m4a to mp3 to wav. If you select mp3 you can also choose different bitrates.
