Doing better than The Breakfast ever did?
« on: January 30, 2012, 02:47:44 pm »
So they just had a crowd near 1000 if not over and it was not a festival gig. Did The Breakfast ever pack a house like that?

Rock on Kung Fu!!! So glad this has so far turned out better than anyone expected.

Wow, that is awesome! I knew those guys could put some asses in the seats. I don\'t know for sure, but I suspect that tB got up to that number for a regular, non-festival gig.

Psychedelic Breakfast has seen crowds in excess of 1000 ppl

Good for Kung Fu.

Now let\'s bring The Breakfast back and they\'ll have crowds at least that big if Josh Kroop will be their manager ... and if they let me do their FB / Web and Print Advertising it would be pretty much a done deal.

Oh. Well it\'s still more people Tim and Adrian have played in front of in years other than fests.
So stoked for them.

opening for another more popular band and playing a fest is kind of the same thing in terms of the bonus crowd.

Either way, its great to see the kidz in Denver gobbling up the Fu.....well I guess we will see by the end of this run........It would suck for them to play 5 great shows out in colorado and then play a full fledged DeeeeeeeW! at sullivan hall for their return show....

Oh waaaaaah.  Just pointing out Kung Fu is doing great. It\'s amazing what actual touring does for a band. Glad everyone in the FU can travel.

Maybe if you didnt title the thread with "doing better than the breakfast ever did?"but I know being an asshole is something unavoidable for you and you do it purposely.
All things aside, I hope the rest of the shows go as well as the motet show. Go Fu!

What a guy can\'t ask a question around here? What r u so sensitive about? It\'s just nice to be able to talk about Kung Fu and people know who I\'m talking about. Something I haven\'t been able to do with The Breakfast for years and it\'s happened so fast it made me wonder.

One of my friends out there caught the Fort Collins show

Left after the first song. I asked her why, she said she was tired and just wanted to stop through.

She said the lights were intense (with Greg doin em up)
