Yea dude it\'s a big problem. Northampton and Newmarket get lucky, but not many other places. Sorry you can\'t go, but look forward to meeting you at the FEST.

It is kinda wack. I do love that the Breakfast is appealing to a younger crowd. This youth and energy is going to help propel the band. Keep the faith!

This may not help much, but just enjoy being who you are and how old you are right now. There will come a time when you will long for those days. Trust me.

At the very least, hopefully these shows will be taped and you can be there anytime!

Just trying to help, I\'ll get off my soapbox now and get my old ass to bed
Are you ser?

The Breakfast music is electric, therefore the instuments have to be electric!
Acoustic is for James Taylor.

this is fucking whack. cant go to the show in PA and now I cant go to any of these shows in my home state. I mean I really don\'t see the benefit of having it be 21 +... just leaves out the younger people who really have becoming more and more into the breakfest, trust me I see it happeneng. Now what I gotta wait for the break-FEST til I see them again. Fucking weak

we have all been there before, nothing you can do about it, I\'ve missed numerous shows because I wasn\'t 21 at that moment

In the conversations I have had with the band they clearly recognize the importance of the youth movement.  They don\'t specifically choose venues in CT because the are 21+, it just happens to be that the venues they play happen to be 21+.  If you look at the CT venues it is mostly the same every year.  Sully\'s and Toad\'s place.  That\'s basically it.  IMO, because of the relationship and success of Kung Fu, the Acoustic Cafe decided to bring in the Breakfast for that January gig and then book them for the residency.

Most places they play in CT are glorified bars rather then music venues.

There just aren\'t many under 21 venues in CT that it makes sense for them to play.  They either don\'t have the relationship with the venue or the venue is unwilling to book them at a price that makes financial sense.

Trust me...they are not trying to alienate the younger fans.  The logistics just don\'t make sense right now for many under 21 venues.

You are absolutely right.  The actual music scene in this area has faded, so its left bands with just bars to play in.

To the younger fans, we\'ve all been there.  When I first started seeing the band, when they were pb, I was on the under 21 side at Toad\'s Place. I can imagine its frustrating.  Just go to the shows you can, the band surely appreciates you and your presence.

I\'ve heard just putting up your hand, saying "I don\'t need Identification" and walking in has worked in the past
Lois: What the hell?  Marilyn Manson?  Is that who\'s causing all this?  Peter: Yeah, it\'s all him or hers fault.  Who does he or she think he or she is?  Look, you can totally see his or her nipples.  That\'s obscene... maybe.  Lois: There\'s only one thing to do.  Peter: You\'re right.  We got to find this Marilyn Manson and I\'ve got to give that bastard or bitch a piece of my mind or penis.
