Non-alcoholic show you say? is public safety gonna be creepin?
Not really. Be discrete. Flask in a pocket or whatever. Anything that\'s obvious might be taken by our security guards at the door because they are there to cover our ass and plausibly deny things in the worst case scenarios. It\'s not like you are getting scrutinized, though! Most of the brothers here are the chillest people you\'ll find at Cornell.
To be more specific - a member of the "Social Responsibility Commitee" will come by probably once during the evening to make sure that we are properly serving water and snacks [LOL, this gets me every time haha] and that the premises are secure. They are not cops or anything remotely related but they do have the power to threaten to shut events done and the rules are definitely written so that they can do whatever the fuck they want, however the fuck they want (unfortunately). Don\'t let them see you being non-discrete and there\'s no problems. They are fat guys in big red coats, its obvious.
Finally, this hasn\'t been a problem at all at the 8 shows we\'ve already charged for this year. Even when a brother accidently had a bottle downstairs, we sweet-talked our way to a fully successful evening.
Can\'t wait!!
mjr, whats the capacity like? a good idea to get advance tix?
Capacity is like 300+. All tickets are at the door and it shouldn\'t be problem though I\'d love to see this place get close to full! Would be amazing!
